For our last release of 2023 we are rounding the year off on TONN Recordings with ‘Wave Function’, the stunning new album by No. ‘Wave Function’ is available now on scarlet red limited edition cassette with the atmospheric photography of Marie-Eve Emond gracing the cover, perfectly matched by Nieuw NDG’s superlative design work.

The new season on TONN kicked off last month with a brilliant collaborative album from LoveTheMachine & Fokker and the theme of collaboration continues on the label with a brand new release from Andy Oppenheimer & Crystalline Stricture. This year has seen a host of long awaited follow-up albums on TONN Recordings. And we are delighted to release Fokker’s 2nd album on the label. Full to the brim with intriguing narratives and glorious synth, Fokker’s brilliant new album ‘Persona’ is available now on TONN Bandcamp.
VEHEMENT INVERSION

It’s been too long since the inventive modular synth of Alan Currall graced TONN Recordings. So we are delighted to announce the release of his 2nd album for the label, 'Buried Structures' out on a beautiful new LTD Edition cassette on TONN Bandcamp.

In a brand new release, Plimplim has joined forces with Monsieur Crane, now double strengthened in everything that’s good about its sound. We once wrote about Guinæpig's music, "This is not a time for pared back restraint. This is the time for electronic excess” and his new album ‘Incongruous’ certainly encapsulates that, visually and musically. A very good way to start 2023 on TONN, with the brand new album by Guinæpig, out now on a striking new cassette, that’s a feast for the eyes and the ears.
GRIMDELUXE
We are delighted to present our final release of 2022, a very special new album by Grimdeluxe. ‘Donker’ showcases Grimdeluxe at his best, as Max Koppmanschap’s sonorous vocals convey an emotional honesty that underscores the every track. With its infectious melodies, danceable beats and synth that shines, ‘Donker’ is an absolute gem.

From Misfortunes comes the beautiful new release, ‘Brilliant Endings’, his 3rd album on TONN Recordings, available now on Limited Edition clear 12” vinyl. With all the hallmarks of Misfortunes distinctive sound, ‘Brilliant Endings’ is album replete with lyrical vocals and dramatic synth lines. The rich colour and textures of Misfortunes synth, are matched by the striking album cover artwork of Constantinos Georgiadis’ photography and stunning design by Nieuw NDG. Sensitively mastered by Thanos Mylonas, ‘Brilliant Endings’ is a tour de force in contemporary dark synth.

This month TONN turns 8. With an unwavering passion for electronic music, I want to thank all of TONN Recordings artists for their incredible music and for their faith in the work we do together on the label. I’d like to also thank TONN’s designer, Ivan Antunovic who is the best possible person to collaborate with and whose beautiful Nieuw NDG design work continues to evolve the label’s aesthetic in wonderful ways. Thanks also to the photographers whose images grace our our covers, it’s a pleasure featuring your photography on the label.
A very big thank you to my good friend Paul Marshall who has supported TONN for many years, for his beautiful merchandising photography.
